Nogway offers a place to take in Ukrainian refugees

Santiago Hotel, located in Gondomar, next to the Douro River, has been closed since 2015 and was recently acquired by Nogway group. The space was provided and adapted, in partnership with the Municipality of Gondomar, to receive about 80 refugees from Ukraine, where a war is taking place that has led millions of people to seek shelter in other countries.

It was on Saturday, March 12th, that these families arrived, mostly women and children, between smiles and tears.

The space, provided by Nogway group, will serve this purpose for three months, being in charge of the Municipality of Gondomar, which created partnerships with companies that will be able to offer jobs to almost all refugees received in the city.
